Short-Term Stays

Temporary Assistance as it's needed

If you are caring for an aging loved one and need temporary assistance, consider a short-term stay at The Residences at Thomas Circle.

Our short-term stays are perfect when family members are away on a vacation or business trip or require a short break from caring for the senior in their life. Short-term stays are also an option for seniors needing extra assistance after a hospital visit or during an illness. Many of our permanent residents also begin their lives with us by evaluating our community through short-term stays (minimum 30-day stay).

Prior to staying with us, we bring seniors and family members together to conduct an assessment. This assessment helps determine the appropriate services and care for each individual. Once a resident has moved in, he or she will enjoy fully furnished private suites, complete with a full bath, an emergency call-response system and wall-to-wall carpeting.

Services and Amenities

Our short-term stay residents may also enjoy:

  • Three delicious, well-balanced meals served daily featuring a variety of menu choices
  • Personal assistance with daily needs like bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and much more.
  • Snacks available throughout the day
  • Weekly housekeeping
  • Social, educational, devotional, and recreational programs
  • Scheduled group transportation to off-site shopping and dining venues
  • Daily afternoon socials
  • Concierge services
  • Trained staff available 24 hours a day
  • Monthly wellness visits by a licensed nurse (if necessary)
  • Full-service beauty/barbershop (additional fee)

Short-term stays are based on space availability and the guest's ability to meet the community's admissions criteria.

Testimonial

In addition to being an instructor, a motivator and a friend, trainers are also part of a resident's post-operative and post-therapy work. In fact, therapists will often send me written recommendation on what areas to focus and work on. It's just one of the many benefits of having a personal trainer on staff.
